Female guppies (Poecilia Reticulata) which is also known as million fish and rainbow fish is one of the world’s most widely distributed tropical fish and also the most popular freshwater aquarium fish species. They are very attractive looking and eye catching fishes with different variations of colors, skin patterns and tail patterns.

Female Guppy Fish are generally bigger compared to male guppies of the same class. Also they have colors which are less vibrant and beautiful. Male guppies are more attractive than female guppies. Although female guppies can sometimes have fin and tail colors that are very large and looks amazingly beautiful. Female Guppies can be differentiated from male guppies by locating a gravid spot in its tail as it is only present in female guppies.
