Generally male guppies are smaller and more colorful than female guppies. The length of male guppies can vary from 0.5 to 1.5 inch (1.5 to 3.5 cm) whereas the length female guppies can vary from 1.2 to 2.5 inches (3 to 6 cm). Generally female guppies are bulkier and heavy than their male counterparts which look skinny and slim.
